Whole Home Design Jacksonville Beach

These clients built this Jacksonville Beach bungalow years ago and had been using it as a rental before deciding it was finally time to make it their own. The vision was a complete transformation into a forever home, just a short walk from the beach.

Modest in size, the home called for thoughtful design choices that would make every space feel intentional and elevated. The clients were drawn to a clean, minimalist, and sophisticated aesthetic with a soft neutral palette. To keep that simplicity from falling flat, the design layers natural materials, subtle patterns, warm wood tones, and carefully selected statement details to create depth and character throughout.

Because this was designed as their forever home, I was able to tailor the spaces specifically to the way they live rather than designing around convention or resale. In the kitchen, that meant forgoing a dishwasher in favor of a wine refrigerator. In the primary bathroom, a single sink created room for a dedicated makeup vanity. Those personal decisions became part of a larger, cohesive design that feels refined and timeless while being distinctly their own.
