For this recent design project in Jacksonville Beach, the client's bold and fun style inspired me to create a space that feels both luxurious and unique, despite its relatively small footprint. I started by opening up a wall, which significantly improved the functionality of the kitchen and allowed for an extended countertop, making the space more efficient for everyday use. Given the size of the kitchen, we chose not to add an overhang on the peninsula. Instead, we determined it would be more beneficial to focus on maximizing storage. To make a strong visual impact, I selected a striking backsplash that serves as the centerpiece of the design. This element brings character and elegance to the kitchen, proving that even a smaller space can be both appealing and highly functional. The overall design ensures that the kitchen feels cohesive and luxurious, tailored perfectly to the client's vibrant personality and practical needs.
